Eike slips back into the shack to steal a pod from the carnivorous vine. She and Anyra wake Taryn and describe Lumina’s fate, helping him to regurgitate her. At the same time Barney also awakens, bound, with aching joints and burning hands. Eike and Anyra refuse to untie him but he easily slips his bonds while they are distracted by Taryn.
